Holara provides a 12 month program to assist in developing young minds into capable and confident individuals.

Holara Education provides services for the following areas:

  • Mindset and mindfulness - Students will build mental strength and recognise that intelligence, skills, and habits can be developed through effort, practice, and persistence.

  • Self develoment - Develop skills in consistency, persistence, resilience, healthy habits, communication, personal growth and desicion making.

  • Financial understanding - Students will learn and understand the importance of saving, develop saving strategies and look at a realistic perspective of how it works in society. Not financial advice but covering the basics of the real world know how.

  • How society and the world works - Students develop a holistic perspective around societal constructs; how the world works together and also how it doesn't. We dive into stratgies to improve ourselves and the world with kindness and compassion at the forefront.

  • Self directed project with support - Using all the knowledge gained throughout the year student's commence a self directed project with guidlines, to both experience and develop a deeper understanding of their mindset and development abilities.

Program Format:

  • The program is designed to go over a 12 month period and runs every Saturday over 8 weeks during each school term.

  • Generally, each session runs over 2 and a half hours on a weekend.

  • The program encompasses 5 core subjects that which will be taught throughout the year.

  • During a session, 2 - 3 subjects will be taught with a 10 min break

  • The program runs along a completely new curriculum created by the founder of Holara Education.

  • The self directed project will run in the last term only as it consolidates all knowledge learned throughout the year.

  • We understand that there is no one size fits all method to learning so we use a mix of teaching pedagogies to ensure students develop a deeper understanding to concepts.

Fees:

  • To ensure students get the most out of the program, we charge term by term and encourgage students to attend the full year program.

  • YEARS 4 - 6 : The cost is $600 per term which includes 8 sessions or 2 and a half hour lessons.

  • YEARS 7 - 10 The cost is $360 per term which includes 8 sessions of 1 and a half hour lessons.

  • Our fees and charges are subject to change at any time and vary depending on when a student enrols during the year.

When are lessons held?

Years 4-6 will be held on Saturday at 9am to 11:30am and Sunday 9am to 11:30am. Lessons will commence on January 31st, the second week of Term 1 2026.

Year 7-10 will commence in Term 2 and complete in Term 1 of 2027

Where are sessions held?

Sessions are held at Mount View Primary School in Glen Waverley on weekends.

How large are the class sizes?

There is a max capacity of 30 students per session. Therefore there is limited spots avaliable for 2026.

However, additional sessions may become available if demand requires.

How long are sessions?

In years 4 -6, each session runs for approximately 2.5 hours, allowing time for learning, discussion, and practical activities in a calm, supportive environment.

In years 7-10, we understand that time is a bit more constricted, therefore sessions run for 1.5 hours.

How is Holara Education different from traditional tutoring?

Traditional tutoring focuses mainly on subjects like Maths and English.
At Holara Education, we connect academic learning to real-life skills such as resilience, emotional intelligence, financial literacy, and independent thinking — helping students thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Students dive into how the world works and learn the breakdown of societal constructs. We talk about the history of countries and continents, and connections between them.

Students will organise, manage and create their own project of their choice. Whether creating something from sctratch, learning a skill or building a business. Student’s will be given support to experience and trial the new skills developed over the year, to try something completely new and unknown to them. Whether they fail or succed, they will learn the benefits of having a go and solidify a growth mindset.
