For the past decade, I’ve worked in two places that shape people the most: healthcare and education.
As a Registered Nurse, I saw how many adults struggle with stress, decision-making, and emotional regulation—not because they’re incapable, but because no one ever taught them the skills to manage their own minds. When I later became a Primary School Teacher, I saw the same patterns in children. Our education system focuses heavily on academics, while students become increasingly anxious, distracted, and overwhelmed.
Through 11 years of studying Buddhist psychology in my personal time, I’ve learned that the mind is not fixed—skills like resilience, focus, and emotional balance can be taught and strengthened. Yet these essential skills are rarely part of our education
Across both nursing and teaching, I noticed the same gap:
We teach people what to think, but not how to think. We reward compliance over curiosity and prepare students for tests, not for life.
I started Holara Education because I believe students deserve more. They deserve practical tools to understand themselves, manage challenges, think clearly, and navigate a world that’s only getting more complex.
My mission is to help young people grow into capable, confident, and self-aware adults—not just academically prepared, but prepared for life.
